Burkina Faso Library

To improve literacy amongst children and families and enhance their cultural and educational experiences, Bridges of Hope is committed to fundraising for a library and cultural centre in the heart of the Boura community of Burkina Faso, West Africa.  The building will be 246 metres squared and located near the medial clinic, orphanage, elementary school and girls training centre.  The building will be home to a library, administration office, musical instruments and a stage.  It will be fully equipped with books (including medical information), computers, printer and copier and video equipment.  This multi-purpose venue will be operated and utilized by professionals, students, community members alike.
