Where Donated Money is Spent

The people at Bridges of Hope International Network of Development Agencies believe our donors should know exactly where their charitable dollars are going before they make their donations. We believe it is essential to keep a lid on the percentage of donation that is retained for administration. We are please to confirm that all designated funds are sent directly to the projects where they are restricted.

How do we afford that?

Bridges of Hope International Network of Development Agencies relies on a number of creative and purposeful strategic partners that designate their donations to cover for general expenses. Also, 14% of our $35 sponsorship program is applied toward administrative costs.

Having donors that contribute towards our administrative costs allows us to send 100% of funds designated for a project to that project.

Designating Donations: All donations to Bridges of Hope fall under two categories: designated and non-designated funds. Designated funds are used for things such as micro-loans, the medical clinic, health care, and education. Anyone contributing to the designated funds can specify which project their donation will support, and can rest assured knowing that 100% of their donation is given directly to the project. Non-designated funds are of equal importance. They facilitate the general operation of Bridges of Hope.
